Vault ("Vault", "we", "us") is a construction project management app used by building companies to manage their projects, teams, budgets, schedules, and communication with clients. This policy explains what information Vault collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Vault is provided to individual users through a construction company that has its own workspace in the app. That company controls its own project and client data; this policy covers how Vault itself, as the platform operator, collects, stores, and protects that data.
We collect information you provide directly, information generated by using the app, and information from device permissions you grant.

If you enable it, Vault uses your device's location — including in the background — solely to verify and prompt job-site clock-ins for time tracking. Location is not collected if you don't grant permission, and you can revoke it at any time in your device's Settings without losing access to the rest of the app.
Vault requests camera and photo library access so you can capture and attach job-site photos, scan documents and receipts, and record short video walkthroughs (which use the microphone for audio). These are only accessed when you actively choose to take a photo, pick a file, or record a video — Vault does not access your camera, library, or microphone in the background.
If you enable Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, authentication happens entirely on your device using your operating system's built-in biometric security. Vault never receives, transmits, or stores your biometric data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Data is never shared across companies — each company's projects, clients, and financials are isolated from every other company using Vault.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app's services. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This removes your personal account and login — project and company records your team relies on are retained by your company's workspace unless your company administrator removes them separately.
Vault is a business tool for construction companies and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-company data isolation — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable means.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
